Sahara Bracelet

This is the third of the projects I made at the Robbinsville retreat this weekend. Swarovski crystals in two colors paired with bronze pearls and burnt red-orange seed beads are an oasis of color! I've had the Czech button for several years, just waiting for the right piece to pair it with. :)

Russian Leaf Necklace and Earrings

Click the photo for a larger view. There are two different finishes of green seed beads: matte and pearl. A few Swarovski crystals for bling and earrings to match. :)

Winter Garden

I made this charm bracelet at the retreat I went to last weekend in Robbinsville. There were 22 of us there and would have been 23 except at the last minute someone was not able to make it. The bracelet is made with snowy white seed beads; a platinum plated clasp with two crystal rhinestones; pressed glass leaves and flowers in a variety of styles and finishes; Swarovski crystals and heart charms; and silver dragonfly, leaf, and snowflake charms. Very difficult to get a good photo of this piece!

Long Time No Beading

I wanted to make something to donate to a charity auction being put on by the Asheville Presbyterian Home for Children. Flat spiral bracelets are pretty quick to work up, so I made this one:

It's two sizes and colors of Czech firepolished glass beads and matte 14/o seed beads. The button is beaded, but I purchased it. After I made it, I decided it wasn't flashy enough for an auction, so I made these:
The first one I made was this bronze and gold bracelet:
After making it, I still wasn't sure I had something that I really thought would grab people's attention at an auction, so I made this one:
The seed beads are really a teal color, which reflects in the gray pearls. The photo is not great.

I went shopping recently at the She Trade Consignment event. I can fit into smaller sizes now, thanks to my Body Magic and was triple dog dared to try on a pair of ruffled pants. Well, after getting them on, I had to buy them. Then when I went to wear them the first time (with the velvet camisold that came with them) I realized I needed accessories. That's where Blue Moon Dreams came from:
