BJP/Coffee Table Progress (or the lack thereof)

Well, since I have not 3 but 4 tiles to bead for this quarter of the Bead Journal Project, I of course have no time to bead on it at all! Actually, that's not entirely true, but as you can see from this picture, I have not done much. I think I have finally decided on my color scheme, but with so many other projects in the works, I haven't had a block of time to work on BJP (I like to have at least an hour). Perhaps tonight after the kids go to bed! :)

Butterfly Necklace Finished!

I've been working on this necklace for a couple of months. I worked on it off and on, starting with the neck straps, then the embroidered butterfly, finally the clasp, putting it all together this weekend.

New Avatar

I uploaded my new avatar - this embroidered butterfly. It is not completely finished yet, but it will be the focal pendant on a necklace I'm working on. The neckstraps are almost done and I'm having a hard time with the toggle I'm making, but it's coming along.

Bead Journal Project 2007 - June Page

Well, I haven't gotten any further on my project. I sold a bracelet yesterday, so I spent last evening working on that. I'm going to the bead store on Friday (yippee!), and I'll probably be getting some beads for the page while I'm there - I want to wait until I have everything before I start.

Bead Journal Project

I have had so many ideas and changed my mind so many times, I'm 2 months late in starting (supposed to start in June) but I am happy with what I have come up with. I was originally going to cut 12 4x4 squares and bead one a month. I'm still going with that basic theme, but instead of cutting them apart and then figuring out how to mount and frame them together, I'm leaving the squares together in a 4x4 grid and doing one big themed project. I'll post photos soon, I hope, but maybe only of my first square so you can't tell what I'm making yet. :)

I have several other projects started: a necklace with an embroidered butterfly focal pendant which is almost done, an embroidered cuff bracelet, an embroidered purse (still in the design phase), and a couple of other necklaces/bracelets in different weaves. I think I'm going through a bead embroidery phase!
