Long Time No Beading
I wanted to make something to donate to a charity auction being put on by the Asheville Presbyterian Home for Children. Flat spiral bracelets are pretty quick to work up, so I made this one:
It's two sizes and colors of Czech firepolished glass beads and matte 14/o seed beads. The button is beaded, but I purchased it. After I made it, I decided it wasn't flashy enough for an auction, so I made these:
The first one I made was this bronze and gold bracelet:
After making it, I still wasn't sure I had something that I really thought would grab people's attention at an auction, so I made this one:
The seed beads are really a teal color, which reflects in the gray pearls. The photo is not great.I went shopping recently at the She Trade Consignment event. I can fit into smaller sizes now, thanks to my Body Magic and was triple dog dared to try on a pair of ruffled pants. Well, after getting them on, I had to buy them. Then when I went to wear them the first time (with the velvet camisold that came with them) I realized I needed accessories. That's where Blue Moon Dreams came from:
