Forest Path Cuff - October BJP

Finally finished my October BJP. Boy, am I behind! I really didn't like this one and am so glad it's done so I can start November. The cab is poly clay made by my friend Harry Solly.

September & October 2008 BJP Start

So, I finally decided what I'm doing for the 2008-2009 BJP.  I'm going to do a cuff bracelet for each month, and here are the starts for September and October.  The other cabs in the photo are possibilities for future months.  All but the butterfly and the dichro cab on the top left are poly clay.  The two on the interfacing were made by a friend of mine Sharon "Harry" Solly.  Now I get to pick beads - yay!!

Fire (2nd Quarter BJP) Update

Well, not as much progress as I'd hoped, but it's better than none!

Going to start working on this again tonight. Looking forward to finishing the outside so I can start on the flames inside. "Water" is next, and I'm looking forward to using lots of blues again.

First "Fire" Progress Update - 2nd Quarter BJP

I started beading my second quarter Bead Journal Project pages. I changed my mind about using all of the flames after I drew them on the interfacing, so only about half or fewer of them will be beaded in red. The rest of the background will be yellow and orange. So far, things seem to be moving fairly quickly.
